Philippians 3:4b-14, from The Second Testament:
4b If another person looks like he has been persuaded in the flesh, I [have] more:
5 Eighth day for circumcision,
from Yisraēl’s [Israel’s] ethnic group,
tribe of Benyamin [Benjamin],
Hebraios of Hebraioi [Hebrew of Hebrews]
Observant [Pharisee] consistent with Covenant Code,
6 chasing the assembly consistent with zeal,
being infallible consistent with rightness in Code.
7 But those matters that were a gain for me—these matters I have considered forfeit because of Christos. 8 But then even more: I consider all matters to be a forfeit because of the higher status of knowing Christos Yēsous my Lord, because of whom I have forfeited all matters and I consider them to be feces so I may gain Christos 9 and that I may be found in him, not having my rightness from Code but rightness through Christos-allegiance, God’s rightness on the basis of allegiance, 10 to know him and his resurrection’s power and his suffering’s common life, being co-morphed to his death, 11 if somehow I may arrive at the reinvigoration from among the dead ones.
We are not yet there
12 Not that I already received [lambanō] [the prize] or already have completed. Rather, I am chasing so that I might also prevail [katalambanō]—for which also I was prevailed [katalambanō] by Christos Yēsous. 13 Siblings, I don’t calculate myself to have prevailed. But one thing [I do is] forgetting the matters behind and stretching out to those matters in front, 14 I am chasing consistent with the scope: God’s upper calling prize in Christos Yēsous.
Thank you
