Coming This Week

This week at Tov Unleashed I will have a special study on how churches should use Matthew 18’s famous one-on-one approach to interpersonal conflict/sin before it becomes the whole church.

The most influential text for the complementarians is 1 Timothy 2:11-15 and on Tuesday we turn again to William Witt’s Icons of Christ to sketch the complementarian view and his egalitarian view.

Wednesday I will take another look at evangelicals evangelizing prisoners with Aaron Griffith’s exceptional new study, God’s Law and Order. What comes to the surface this week will be the pervasive influence of Billy Graham.

Thursday I want to dip into the new study on bad ideas about the Old Testament that get sorted out by Brent Strawn, a specialist in the Old Testament. His new accessible book is called Lies my Preacher Told Me: An Honest Look at the Old Testament.

Friday I return to the lecture format. Most of this is for the paid subscribers so think about joining us for the conversations.
