Coming This Week

I’m looking forward to the coming week at Tov Unleashed. So here’s what’s coming, and I invite you to join us.

On Monday I want to explore again the struggle so many churches are having with how to treat victims and survivors in a Christian manner, so my theme will be “Jesus and Survivors.” A heart-felt appeal for us all.

Tuesday we want to explore something from Mike Bird’s little book on the Bible: learning to take the Bible, not literally but seriously. Bird’s chapter on this theme is very helpful.

Wednesday I tap on a new book about learning to live on mission as a Christian community. Join us for six themes of Christians living together on mission in a way that is formed by relationships (not programs) and redemption.

Thursday we turn to a powerful theme in Jared Alcántara’s book about the great preacher Gardner Taylor — the theme is redemption.

Friday — wait and see!
