Coming This Week at Tov Unleashed
Kris and I are on a brief break this week but Tov Unleashed is all set up. We will be checking in as we are able.

Monday we will look at how women have been erased, or silenced, in the history of the church. Their silencing indicates they had a voice, so tune in. So, we return to Beth Allison Barr’s new book after taking a week off.
Tuesday we look at how earliest Christians, when they were disempowered, resisted by proclaiming and embodying the way of Christ, which John Dickson calls being “good losers.” Persecution drives the person to embody witness in a number of ways.
Wednesday we begin a new book: a look at the Beatitudes with Rebekah Eklund’s new and important study called The Beatitudes Through the Ages.
Thursday we return to Eugene Peterson’s wonderful biography, and you can see the book club reading schedule here.
Friday we return to our discussion of the Pharisees and Jesus, this time re-thinking what the term “hypocrisy” means — and it is far more than most think.
