First Week of 2023

For the first week of 2023 we usher in the New Year with what we have always done on our blogs and Substack: discuss topics and books worthy of reading. I hope you can join us for the year for the full experience of conversations and all the newsletters/posts.

Monday: I will look at a popular Christian term that everyone loves but very few can define. Our conversation attempts to clarify what that lovable term means.

Tuesday: contrary to some seriously mistaken leaders in the USA, compassion —

made up as it is of both empathy and sympathy — is not a sign of weakness. Compassion is actually powerful.

Wednesday: What does incarnation in and through the birth canal of a female God say about God? Join us.

Thursday: the home-making God comes home. God with us means God at home with us, and our being at home with God — in the flesh.
