Gonna Be a Fun Week
This is gonna be a good week here at Substack with:
First, we open the week with the rise and fall of dispensationalism as we open up Daniel Hummel’s new book, The Rise and Fall of Dispensationalism. As I have indicated, the first posts in series that are bound to rake into the ire of some will be public but after that they will have to be for the subscribers.
Second, I turn Tuesday over to Kat Armstrong, who is part of a flourishing ministry of Bible teaching, to her new series that helps people study the Bible as a narrative.
Third, is there such a thing as a “liberal” evangelical or an evangelical “liberal”? Join us for this provocative post about Isaac Sharp’s new book.
Thursday, Heather Hart examines the socio-political dimensions of crucifixion and what it meant for God to take it on, and what it ultimately then means for discipleship.
As always we count on our friend Mike Glenn to send us a pastoral reflection for Friday. To see all posts and to participate in the discussions, please subscribe.
