Gospel for Today
From The Second Testament (forthcoming), an extract from today’s Gospel lection.
Luke 16:10-13
10 The allegiant one in least matters is allegiant in many matters, and the wrong-doer in least matters is a wrong-doer in many matters. 11 If therefore you don’t become trustworthy with unjust accumulations, who will trust you with true [accumulations]? 12 If you don’t become allegiant with an outsider’s [accumulations] who will give to you your own?
13 No domestic is able to slave for two lords. For either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will stick to one and snub the other.
You are not able to slave for God and accumulations.
