Yēsous appears to the apprentices
19 Therefore … it was evening on that day, the first day of the Sabbaths and the door had been shut where the apprentices were because they were scared of the Youdaians… Yēsous came and stood in the middle and says to them, “Peace to you.” 20 Saying this, he exhibited the hands and the side to them. Therefore, the apprentices rejoiced, seeing the Lord. 21 Therefore, Yēsous said to them again, “Peace to you. Just as the Father has commissioned me, I also send you.” 22 Saying this, he blew and says to them, “Receive Holy Spirit. 23 Whose sins you release have been released to them, whose you grab, have been grabbed.”
24 Thōmas, one of the Twelve, who is called “Twin [Didumos],” was not with them when Yēsous came. 25 Therefore, the other apprentices were saying to him, “We have seen the Lord.” He said to them, “If I do not see in his hands the nails’ type and toss my finger into the nails’ type and toss my hand into his side, I will never trust.” 26 After eight days the apprentices were again inside and Thōmas with them. Yēsous comes … the doors were shut … and he stood in the middle and said, “Peace to you.” 27 He says to Thōmas, “Carry you finger here and look at my hands, and carry your hand and toss into my side. Do not be anti-trusting but trusting.” 28 Thōmas responded and said to him, “My Lord and my God.” 29 Yēsous says to him, “Because you have seen me you have trusted? God’s blessing on the ones not seeing and trusting.”
