Luke 12:32-40
32 Don’t be scared, my little flock, because your Father delighted to give you the Empire.
33 Sell your possessions and give a donation. Make for yourselves non-aging sacks, an inexhaustible treasure chest in the heavens, where a thief doesn’t get close nor does a moth abominate. 34 For where your treasure chest is there also will be your heart.
35 Let your waists be wrapped and your lamps be aflame! 36 You: be comparable to humans attending to their lord when he leaves the marriage so, coming and knocking, immediately they open for him. 37 God blesses those slaves whom the lord, coming, finds awake. This is true to say to you: He will wrap himself and he will recline them and, passing by, will serve them. 38 If he comes in the second or if in the third night-watch and finds them so – they are blessed by God.
39 Know this, that if the house master had known on which hour the thief comes, he would not release his house to be broken into. 40 You: be prepared because on an hour you don’t seem [to know] the Son of Humanity comes.
