Looking Ahead
Got a late start on this week’s Looking Ahead, sorry.
I will begin the week with that wonderful speech by Martin Luther King, Jr.: “I Have a Dream.” I read it each year. Hope you do too.
Then we turn to a newsletter about stereotyping the Pharisees, and I promise you this one will jolt your paradigm into wondering if we Christians got something upside down. (Yes.)
Richard Middleton asks if, in the Book of Job, that famous last speech of God from the whirlwind was when God came to “bury” Job or “praise” Job. You can guess the very reason Middleton wants us to ask that question. His take on Job will jolt another paradigm. Whew. It was a fun section to read.
And American, we really do have a gun problem. The world is saying that very thing but so does the great prophet Isaiah. Join us this week. And subscribe to see all the newsletters.
