Questions for Peter
Good afternoon (according to the Central Standard Time here in Chicagoland)! We have a couple questions for Peter this week.
We open the week looking at the liberation gospel, and explore how one’s location shapes one’s understanding of the gospel itself. Join us for a refreshing approach to what is often ignored, neglected, or even denied.
The question an author asks is a good one: Was Peter’s “conversion” really a conversion? If not, what was it? If so, how do we explain it?
One of the puzzling pieces in the Gospels is why in the world one of the disciples (guess who) of Jesus was “carryin’” in the Garden of Gethsemane. What does this tell us about the kingdom vision of Jesus?
Thursday we make a proposal: let’s make empathy great again! (Ha.) Join us for a sketch of what is happening among Christians and among the president’s administration.
