Elesha Coffman begins her ninth chapter about “Muscular Missions: Student Volunteer Movement Launched, 1886), at a school for boys called Mount Hermon in Northfield Massachusetts. It was founded by Dwight L. Moody (of Moody Bible Institute fame). The book is called Turning Points in American Church History: How Pivotal Events Shaped a Nation and a Faith.
