Monday is an Ooops! Day. We accidentally sent out the post that was supposed to appear on Monday. So we will repost it. We will open a discussion about “evangelism — the old-fashioned way.” And, yes, I’ll leave it with that. The topic may not be what you think it means.
Tuesday: If we read the Bible like Jesus (1), where do we begin? What will it look like to begin where Jesus began?
Wednesday: the progressive orthodoxy about the prophets of Israel is that they were (and remain) social critics. Julie O’Brien discusses in admirably clear terms how that orthodoxy arose in biblical scholarship.
Thursday: Let us give thanks!
