The "I am" Sayings of Jesus in John

I love to read and ponder and pray about the I am sayings of Jesus in John. I hope you do too.

I sense when I read these sayings that I am staring into a moment of God revealing God-ness to us. That in this person Jesus, in his concrete reality mind you, in the simplicity of a metaphor, we are seeing the face of God. God’s light breaks through.
