We have a special week planned this week for this Substack. Four fresh posts.
Monday: I answer a question about translating The Second Testament. The question comes from one of our prayer partners who prayed for me as I was translating. Join us Monday for the post.
Tuesday: several new memoirs have been published by women who have been wounded by the church. Tuesday’s Substack is a relentless response to the powers at work in Christian Reconstructionism, Dominionism, and Christian Nationalism — no matter what you call it. She left. She tells her story.
Wednesday: what does “kingdom” mean when Jesus uses the term and what does it mean for us? I propose twelve ideas about kingdom then and kingdom now.
Thursday: A word we have lost, a word that figures prominently in the New Testament, and a word we need to think about — all over again, as if for the first time. The old ideas have to go. Some new ones are due for discussion.

I am very interested in Tuesday’s post. I finished reading the book last week. My life has had significant overlaps with that of the author. Reading and reflecting have proven life altering for me as light was shed on confusing threads in my life.
