Substack has been a godsend for many of us. Other platforms and programs simply did not work for those of us writing daily (what used to be called) “blogs.” But Substack has perfected the system.

Monday: I will delve into the White House’s latest NSS on international relations and policy. I have brought in some help to guide us.

Tuesday: the final chapter in Randall Balmer’s wonderful new book, which I named the Book of the Year. The chapter fulfills the yearnings I had for the conclusion: all about the idolatry called Christian nationalism.

Wednesday: ten elements of a love life.

Thursday: the “Bright Path” in Indigenous Christian theology.
