This Week at Tov Unleashed
Our newsletter, Tov Unleashed, will begin the week with the notes/sentences I took into the pulpit Sunday for a sermon about Luke 10:25-37 on the Samaritan who became the example for the apostles, for the lawyer, and for the priest and Levite.
On Tuesday I turn to the theme of peace from my new book The Audacity of Peace, a memoir I wrote about a peace ethic. It has recently been released in the USA with Fortress Press. I was invited in this volume to participate in a new undertaking called “My Theology,” and am honored to be among those asked.
Wednesday I turn to How to choose what to read next, and I reflect with Austin Carty on my practices of reading. It should be fun because I have lots of questions for you.
Thursday I want to turn to John Stackhouse’s new book in the Very Short Introduction series from Oxford called Evangelicalism. Some solid observations from John about a topic he has written about for decades.
