Tour Stop #7: Jerusalem
We spent a full day in and around Jerusalem, including time in the Old City (for many in our cohort the first time). Give Kris a big clap for all the pictures she takes.
Is this not the best looking cohort you can imagine? This massive menorah is across the street from the Knesset.
Outside the Old City at the Museum is a model of 1st Century Jerusalem, which I love. I could spend hours here. Here’s a good picture from the south look straight up the City of David to the temple:
For our first time, though we’ve been here four times, we walked some of the Wall around Jerusalem. It’s called the Rampart Walk. One can see how it was used as a protection during various battles for Jerusalem.
How can one walk through the Old City and not take note of the myriads of very insistent shopkeepers in their shops?
One more full day in Jerusalem. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
