The Second Testament:
Yēsous appears in the Galilaia
21:1 After these things, Yēsous made himself apparent again to the apprentices at the Tiberias Sea. He manifested [himself] like this: 2 Simōn Petros and Thōmas (who is called “Twin” [Didumos]) and Nathan-aēl (who is from the Galilaia’s Kana) and the [sons] of Zebadaios and two others of his apprentices were together. 3 Simōn Petros says to them, “I am going away to fish.” They say to him, “We also are going with you.” They exited and got down into the boat, and in that night they caught nothing. 4 It’s already early … Yēsous stood on the shore. The apprentices, however, did not know that it’s Yēsous. 5 Therefore, Yēsous says to them, “Children, you don’t have something for eating, do you?” They responded to him, “No.” 6 He said to them, “Toss the net over the boat’s right side, and you will find.” Therefore, they were tossing and no longer were strong enough to pull it from the mass of fishes. 7 Therefore, that apprentice whom Yēsous was loving says to Petros, “It’s the Lord.” Therefore, Simōn Petros, hearing that it’s the Lord, wrapped on the shirt, for he was [all but] naked, and he tossed himself into the Sea, 8 but the other apprentices came in the small boat, for they were not far from the land but about 200 yards, dragging the net of fishes.
9 Therefore, as they went away into the land, they see a charcoal fire laid out and fish laid on top and bread. 10 Yēsous says to them, “Carry from the fishes that you caught now.” 11 Therefore, Simōn Petros ascended and pulled the net into the land, full of great fishes – 153! … being so many … the net was not ripped. 12 Yēsous says to them, “Come, dine!” No one of the apprentices was daring to scrutinize him, “Who are you?”, knowing that it’s the Lord. 13 Yēsous comes and takes the bread and gives to them, and likewise the fish. 14 This was already the third [time] Yēsous was made apparent to the apprentices, having risen from among the dead ones.
15 Therefore, when they dined Yēsous says to Simōn Petros, “Simōn of Yōannēs, do you love me more than these?” He says to him, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” He says to him, “Feed my lambs.” 16 He says to him again a second time, “Simōn of Yōannēs, do you love me?” He says to him, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” He says to him, “Pastor my sheep.” 17 He says to him a third time, “Simōn of Yōannēs, do you love me?” Petros was pained that he said to him a third time ‘Do you love me?,’ and he says to him, “Lord, you know all things, you know that I love you.” Yēsous says to him, “Feed my sheep. 18 This is especially true to say to you: when you were young, you wrapped yourself and you walked around where you wanted. Whenever you get old, you will extend your hands, and another will wrap you and will carry you where you do not want.” (19 He said this signifying by what kind of death he will splendor God.”) Saying this, he says to him, “Follow me!”
