More than once a request has come my way, asking for some suggestions, advice, or wisdom on how pastors, teachers, and parents can talk about or preach about Israel, Gaza, and the Palestinians.
Thank you for laying this out so clearly. I believe that I can still “support” my friends - empathize with their shock and suffering, while still calling for justice, compassion and peace for all. It’s good to live in the present and let God be God, and do my best to practice tov. Love God, love my neighbor. That is reality.
