When I was a teenager listening to Cat Stevens' song, "How Can I Tell You," I imagined it was me singing to all my unrequited lovers. In middle age, I once sent this beautiful song to my own beautiful bride confessing to her how wherever I was she was always with me but I never had the right words to tell her so. Now that I'm an old man, I hear Jesus singing "How Can I Tell You" to all of us . . . and also just to me.
