I’ve been reading this book too and learned a lot. Also have two older bi racial daughters who we adopted as teens when their mom died. So it was helpful to read this through that experience and get more understanding of how they felt about some things
“facts don’t change people, relationships do “. I needed that. I have a friend of seventy three years who has gone MAGA. It has been a very difficult seven years. Our friendship has barely survived. A couple of years ago I realized that “facts” were not the answer. I kept trying the relationship approach but recently decided to give up. Now I will try harder.
