Thank you for waiting to respond and then for giving a few handholds for understanding. Lord, may we all long for the real deal!

Thank you for this. As one who has heard His voice, been saved from dying as a baby through a dream to my uncle, felt His presence come upon a person and knew they were dead before medical instruments, etc., I pray others personally experience our Living God as I have!

Dear Father, please let this move of your Spirit be a cloud the size of a man’s hand. Oh God, we are desperate for you.

Desperate, oh God.

Please hear our cry.

Thank you Dr. Lyons for this well written perspective. It is a beautiful thing to know God is so near to his people.

Thank you, Scot, for a good word on what’s happening! My first thoughts, when I heard about this, we’re skeptical, but then the questions: “Why not?” and “What IS happening?” kept speaking to me.

We just experienced a revival,of different sorts, with the Super Bowl hoopla. When people get excited about God’s presence in their lives, WHY WOULDN’T IT BE CONTAGIOUS?, right?

A phrase that came to mind last night, while driving to a church meeting at a struggling church, was: (imagine the Olivia Newton John song). “LET’S GET SPIRITUAL!” With an accompanying question and thoughts: “How?!” I’ve lived in several communities who have had school sports tens “revivals”. - Community excitement for a very successful season. BUT, too much excitement about God’s presence in our lives? We’re just religious fanatics!!!☹️ ARRGH!!! Now what am I going to do?!

When I played softball, as an adult, I hit a fair amount of doubles and triples with hard line drives to the opposite field. I don’t remember ever seeing the bat hit the ball, even though they were slow pitch softballs! I set up a certain way, and swung arc and as late as I could! Dear God, help me make sense of this, position myself right with You, and give all, with faith with You! Amen! So be it!

Thankful for a quiet voiced, sure response to this. It is great to see the Facebook posts and wonder, even better to see it in perspective. Aslan on the move as they say. Anytime God works it’s good.
