From the southern end of the Dead Sea to Masada, to Qumran, to Jericho, and up to Jerusalem — our fifth post about our Northern Seminary DMin cohort’s tour of Israel. We had a great day. We began at the incredible site of Masada, the fortress atop a mountain on the Dead Sea that was the last holdout of the Jewish rebels against Rome in the Great War of 66-73 AD. Some incredibly rugged terrain. Some intelligent ways of storing water and food.
Great pics, Scot. Wish I was there! Enjoy some falafel for me.
