Carolyn Moore’s When Women Lead is exactly what we need – written by a woman who has planted a church from the ground up, who had babies and children and teens, who has a husband, who has people routinely asking her how to defend women pastoring and leading, who realizes that resources for women leading in ministry are not as plentiful for women as they are for men, and who realizes through it all that being a woman leader today is different than leading as a man – especially in the church.
Just ordered Carolyn’s book, and look forward to reading it. As a woman who worked in paid ministry for 22 years (as a missionary for 20 and an associate pastor for 2), I can attest to the fact that the ministry world whether complimentarian or egalitarian is fraught for women. I work in tech now, and even though it is largely a system built by men for men, it has been, in my experience less fraught with obstacles to me being able to just lead than the church was. When religion and misogyny mix, it’s a whole other level. Looking forward to reading Carolyn’s book.
So grateful to you for this endorsement and even more, for all the ways you so graciously and fairly contend for women who lead. Thank you.
Thanks so much Carolyn.
Writing a paper for school on this right now, so glad to to have this resource, looks amazing!!!

Carolyn's book can help us all.
Exciting. It very sad that especially in the “church” that women especially in lead rolls are frowned on. Looking forward to reading this book
