From The Second Testament, Romans 8:12-25 12 Accordingly therefore, siblings, we are debtors—not to the Flesh to live consistent with Flesh . . . 13 for if you live consistent with Flesh, you are about to die. But if in Spirit you kill the Body’s practices, you will live. 14 For whoever is led by God’s Spirit—these are God’s descendants! 15 For you did not receive slavery’s spirit again into being scared, but you received family-placement’s Spirit, in whom we cry, “Abba, Father!” 16 This same Spirit co-witnesses with our spirit that we are God’s children. 17 If children, also heirs—God’s heirs, co-heirs with Christos—since we co-suffer so may we be co-splendored.
“Creation was ordered under idleness” really sticks out to me! This is my favorite chapter in the Bible, and I love this fresh reading of it. Thank you.

"But if we hope for what we don’t see, we impatiently wait through resilience."
I love this change from "wait for it patiently" or some such in most VV. I've never been able to figure out how to wait "<merely> patiently."
Unrelated comment/question: just what does it mean to "kill the Body's [capital B!] practices"?
