Yēsous tested 4:1 Yēsous, full of Holy Spirit, returned from the Yordanēs and was being led in the Spirit in the wilderness 2 for forty days, being tested by the Accuser [diabolos]. He did not eat anything in those days … they were completed … he hungered.
I tell people that I'm a "reluctant academic" because my heart is really in the local church. I'm still adjunct teaching at APU but I don't really keep up the "skills" I had to master to make my way to a doctoral degree. I spend a majority of my time not in research, writing, and doing all that you do but rather preaching, teaching lay people, discipling, visiting, missionally living, etc. That's why I love it when I have people in my life who do lean into the calling that God has given them...in your case, your amazing gifts continue to bless me! Thanks Scot!
What is the translation? Is it literal, line-by-line, from Greek to English?
Candice, thanks. I need to repeat this weekly, I guess. It's mine from the Second Testament, coming out in about a year.
Oh ok, thank you :-D (I'm new here )
Maybe when you post it, just add your forthcoming reference to the bottom ;-)
Thank you for the translation
Thank you Dolores.
Keep this up…this is great to get your translation!
Thanks Robin, I will!
